The purpose of the study is to study the financial problems of modernizing socio-economic systems and develop ways to overcome them. Method of research: theoretical and methodological bases of work are the situation of modern economic theory, scientific works of leading domestic and foreign scientists on the problems of ensuring sustainable development of socio-economic systems, as well as legislative acts of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, decrees of the President of Ukraine, etc. For the solution of the tasks, systematic analysis, methods of statistical, economic analysis, programming, economic-mathematical modeling and other methods of research were used. The results of the study are a package of recommendations for overcoming the financial problems of modernizing socio-economic systems at the macro and micro levels. Scope - field of management of manufacturing enterprises, budgetary organizations and financial institutions. The results of the work are also used in the educational process when reading lectures on finance, economic analysis, financial analysis, financial management, and when doing coursework and diploma work on specialties of the economic profile.
