Research purpose: development of mathematical model of knowledge assessment and effective algorithm of computing testing. Research methods: using classical and Item Response Theory(IRT) methods for development learning management system which takes into account the individual features of student. Theoretical and practical results: the mathematical model of the parameters estimation of test quality based on IRT and original testing algorithm of students' knowledge assessment have been developed. Novelty: the computing testing method has been improved due to revaluation of test difficulty. The practical significance of the results: application of developed method will allow taking into account the individual features of students, objectively appreciating students' knowledge and reducing the knowledge evaluation time.
