The purpose of the work is to improve the quality of the workpieces by improving the technologies and equipment for the division of rolled products and pipes into dimensional workpieces. The research used mathematical and physical modeling, strain gauging, statistical analysis, analytical methods of research, analysis of equipment and drive indicators, which influence the efficiency of work. Standard measurement equipment and instruments were used. New methods of magnetic pulse processing of the tool are developed, which is a combination of electromagnetic and thermodynamic methods for controlling the nonequilibrium structure of a substance. The obtained results made it possible to develop three directions of technological recommendations, which cover the study of the influence of the magnetic field on the properties of high-speed steels, the study of the influence of the magnetic field on the stability of the cutting tool and the operating regulation of the magnetic processing tool, as well as technological recommendations for the introduction of the method of magnetic processing into production. Calculations of energy values that accumulate in the hydrosystem with elastic and quasielastic compression are carried out. Recommendations on the practical use of the obtained results are developed. The proposed new designs of equipment with high technical and economic characteristics. Developments are recommended for implementation in mechanical engineering and metallurgy.
