The subject of the study is the approaches to managing the components of the strategic potential of a transitive economy in the discourse of economic theory and management in the context of globalization changes of the present. The aim of the study is to manage the components of the strategic potential of a transitive economy and to formulate on this basis the paradigm of economic development of the national economy. Achievement of the set goal has caused the formulation and solution of such tasks of a methodological and practical nature:on the basis of the study of applied aspects of structural changes in business management, determine the degree of validity of theoretical concepts in order to identify their scientific and methodological significance and the possibilities of applying modern science; to conduct a comparative analysis of the level of development of the internal structure of the economic system and the processes of business management in the context of specific historical features of development; to determine the peculiarities of management of business structures in the conditions of a transitory economy of Ukraine. Research results: theoretical and methodological aspects of structural changes are determined; the analysis of the influence of innovative management tools on business efficiency was conducted; the components of the mechanism of adaptation of enterprises of various forms of ownership to the conditions of the transitive economy are improved. Area use: is the application of the methodology of conceptual awareness and systematic study of the approaches to managing the components of the strategic potential of a transitive economy in the discourse of economic theory and management, the development of a modern research base of the fluctuations of the economic systems of the modern world.
