The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency and expansion of the possibilities of manufacturing technologies for parts and blanks by using new deformation schemes with the combined plastic flow of metal during plastic deformation on the basis of new calculation methods. A number of experimental researches are conducted, aimed at determining the deformability in the processes of cold and hot deformation, deformed and stress-deformed state of blanks during forging, plasticity resource in the processes of cold extrusion and a complex of studies on measuring the forces of contact friction directly in the process of plastic. Experimental study by the method of coordinate grids evaluated the regularities of formation of zones of plastic flow and distribution of the degree of deformation in the workpiece in the forging and stamping processes. The complex of researches on measuring of friction forces directly in the process of plastic deformation is carried out. A new type of devices - friction force gauges, which contribute to the expansion of the range of measured parameters characterizing deformation conditions, has been developed.
