It is established that according to DSTU 4808: 2007 surface water belongs to the first and second quality class by the content of major ions, to the third class by the content of ammonium nitrogen and inorganic phosphorus, to the second and fourth quality class - by the indicator of dichromate and permanganate oxidation. It is established that the studied section of the river is eutrophied. Biotest results show that water has no acute toxicity and bottom sediments have low toxicity. Hydrochemical studies have shown that drinking water is fit for consumption. Toxicity in water samples before and after water treatment was not detected.
