Purpose of the study: study of the mound in the southern part of the burial ground. Research objectives: organization of works, history of the study of the burial ground, topographic conditions of the object location, detection of ancient burial, description of stratigraphy of the mound embankment and filling the burial chamber, establishing the basic features of the burial rite, determining the types of major categories of finds, chronological features of artifacts complex, description of archaeological sites, clearing of burial, field conservation of metals and organics, general report on excavations. Scientific information obtained during the excavations has greatly expanded our knowledge of the burial rite of early Scythian times, as the mound was not robbed. In addition, the full location of all objects within the burial chamber for the first time was scientifically recorded and the wooden burial structure examined. As a result of the careful fixation of the artifacts, it is possible to restore the appearance of the female headdress of early Scythian times. A presentable collection of finds has been formed, dates of their existence have been specified, all categories of finds have been attributed, for the first time ceramic tableware and other clay products, reflecting local traditions of the population of a certain time, as well as imported objects that have hit the settlement due to developed trade relations of centers of the Northern Black Sea. The excavation materials are important for comparison with the data of previously studied mounds of the necropolis, understanding the formation of the burial ground, in which the representatives of the local top were buried.
