The purpose of the work is to investigate and provide recommendations on the formation of business social responsibility institutes in the world practice and problems of institutional innovations application in the domestic practice. Based on the results of the conducted research, the following scientific results were obtained: comparative analysis on macro and micro-levels of innovations and investments, social sphere in the conditions of transformation of national economy; it is investigated the innovative-investment development of Ukraine in modern conditions in innovative and social directions; a system for assessing the economic performance of economic entities by a set of indicators has been formed; the importance of the main indicators of the pace of development of the innovative and social component of the national economy in the period 2016 - 2018 is investigated. Scientific novelty and significance of the obtained scientific results: development and scientific substantiation of the theoretical and methodological basis, methodological provisions and recommendations on innovative economy and social responsibility of business, which will provide increase of competitiveness and innovation-investment activity of economic entities in the conditions of European economy. Some preliminary results were tested at enterprises, implemented at the national and regional levels. in the dissertation research and received positive evaluations. The research results were reflected in the following courses of lectures: "Management Studies", "Innovation Management", "Management Analysis" and others. Three doctoral theses and one PhD thesis have been prepared.
