The purpose of the research is the scientific substantiation of the system of prevention of production-conditioned pathology in the employees of the dental service, in the conditions of application of modern medical technologies. Methods of research - bibliosemantic, hygienic, physicochemical, medico-sociological, medico-psychological, epidemiological, statistical, conceptual modeling It has been determined that dentists (therapists, surgeons, orthodontists, orthopedists) and dental technicians at the workplace are exposed to 230 agents and materials belonging to 59 subgroups of chemicals. The main production factors that determine the harmfulness and danger of working conditions of dentists and dental technicians are: biological factors; nanodispersed dust (II-III hazard classes containing - Si, As, Mg, Ca, Al, Pb, Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Zn, Ag, Cd); physical factors (lighting, noise, microclimate, air ionization); the difficulty and intensity of work. Among the proportion of workers are signs of psychopathological syndromes (% of employees): (1) professional burnout (reduction of professionalism - 45.4%; depersonalization - 25.4%; emotional exhaustion - 10.2%); (2) depression (44.1%, including “severe” - 5.0%), (3) reduction of stress resistance (2.9%). The incidence of temporary disability of dental service workers is "very low" and is mainly due to SARS (52.0%) and exacerbation (decompensation) of existing chronic pathology (29.0%). There is a significant spread among the workers: pathologies of the upper respiratory tract (rhinitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, etc.); viral hepatitis B / C; radiculitis; bronchial asthma; infertility (pers.); tuberculosis; arthritis and arthrosis; pancreatitis; diseases of the thyroid gland.
