The genetic structure of the Swan breeders according to the kappa-casein gene (CSN3) was investigated. It is established that the Swan breeders have a sufficiently high frequency of encounter of the allelic variant B in the capa-casein locus, which allows for further breeding of cattle aimed at increasing the milk's cheese fitness. Differentiation of individual indicators of semen quality depending on the term of its storage and the origin of the booger-breeders is revealed. The possibility of insemination of the uterus with cryopreserved sperm of the studied boogers, whose semen production has been stored for more than 35 years, is shown in the case of works related to the restoration or maintenance of the swan breed population. The genetic structure of the experimental population of cattle of the Swan breed at 10 microsatellite loci (ETH225, BM2113, ETH3, BM1818, BM1824, ILSTS006, INRA023, TGLA053, TGLA122, ETH10) was analyzed. The vast majority of loci studied (with the exception of ETH3) belong to informative markers (PIC> 0.5). The most polymorphic were loci TGLA053 (8 alleles), BM2113 (6) and ETH3 (6). In general, the minimum number of alleles (4) is fixed in 50% of the loci. The basic population-genetic parameters by the studied loci are calculated. The highest values ​​of heterozygosity (He) and effective number of alleles (ne) were characteristic of the loci BM2113, ILSTS006, TGLA053 and ETH225. With the exception of the ETH3 and BM1818 loci, the experimental group of animals is in a state of genetic equilibrium.
