Since electric drives consume up to 70% of generated electricity, the most significant energy savings can be achieved by using adjustable electric drives to control technological processes. There are the following directions for reducing energy consumption by asynchronous electric drives. The first direction is associated with a decrease in losses in the electric drive when it performs specified technological operations according to specified tachograms and with a specific load mode. The second direction is associated with a change in the technological process based on the transition to more advanced methods of regulating the electric drive and the parameters of this technological process. Therefore, it is relevant to increase energy efficiency and improve the operational characteristics of electromechanical equipment by developing methods and technical means of controlled pulling on the basis of frequency-controlled electric drives.
