The purpose of the work is to improve the methods of heterosis and varietal selection of tomatoes by integrated assessment of collection and selection material, to establish regularities in the variability and inheritance of features and to develop on this basis methodical approaches to the construction of a mathematical model of the variety with increased level of adaptability through the use of information technology and data predicting results. Research methods - field, organoleptic, measuring and weighting, calculation, mathematical and statistical. The variability of tomato genotypes by quantitative traits over the last 5 years is analyzed. Stable samples by fetal weight, pericarp thickness, soluble solids content, vitamin C content, and sugar-acid index were found. The peculiarities of the genetic organization of the duration of the growing season and productivity in the collecting samples of tomato were determined, and differences in the epigenetic programs of growth and development of individual genotypes were identified. According to the results of the researches, a database was created, which contains information on the study of tomato samples by the duration of the growing season, yield, quality of production, resistance to disease. When studying the patterns of quantitative traits in F1, the donor properties of the original forms were evaluated and those that yielded a yield increase relative to the maternal and paternal forms were identified. The mathematical model of the dependence of the manifestation of the sign of "total yield" in F1 hybrids on the level of this sign in the maternal parental form was calculated.
