Principles of creation of surfactant compositions for the preparation of cotton knitted fabric on the basis of the analysis of physicochemical indicators of surfactants and their mechanism of action are scientifically substantiated; - it has been established and experimentally confirmed that the wetting and washing ability of surfactants are crucial in the development of surfactant compositions for the preparation of cotton knitwear; - mathematical models of capillary dependence and degree of fixation of active dyes on technological parameters of the bleaching process and concentrations of surfactant compositions were obtained for the first time, which allow to optimize the technological process of obtaining a high quality knitted fabric.
