To implement a new technological scheme for the production of thin and especially thin single-sheet tin and high-quality thin strips, a compact complex is proposed, the composition is determined and the optimal parameters of technological equipment are established. A rational size range of thicknesses of hot-rolled steel was determined to produce thin and extremely thin single-sheet tin and high-quality thin strips, and a methodology was developed for determining the hourly average productivity of a two-stand reversible cold rolling mill. A distribution strategy for partial relative compressions and tensions has been developed, taking into account the patterns of hardening of the strip material in the line of the cold rolling mill, on the basis of which a method for calculating the deformation modes on a two-stand reversing mill has been created. The deformation modes for cold rolling have been developed for especially thin (0.10-0.15 mm), thin (0.16-0.18 mm), single-sheet tin, conventional thickness (0.20-0.36 mm) and thin (0,3-0.5 mm) of high-quality strips on a 1400 double-stand reversible mill. The construction of such a mill in Ukraine is relevant and advisable, as this will allow to master the production of strategically important types of metal products for the country, refuse to import them and create conditions for the possible export of such products.
