The purpose of the work is to substantiate the composition of the radiation resistant U-Mo alloy, to develop the technology, and to melt the alloy U- (7..10)% Mo, to select the parameters, and to conduct heat treatment, cladding and testing of the target plates. The research method is to create a design, to use analytical calculations, and a vacuum induction installation for smelting target plates. The use of electron beam welding for the cladding of the target plates aluminum alloy CAB-1. As a result of this work, an important scientific and technological problem will be solved - created by U-Mo-, aluminum clad, a target for the nuclear subcritical installation of the Neutron Source Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), which is a promising development of safe reactors of the future.
