The subject of work is the development of models and methods for improving the accuracy of diagnosis of nasal breathing through the introduction of rapid prototyping technology. The object of the study is the processes of development and analysis of the aerodynamic characteristics of individual full-scale 3D models of the upper respiratory tract of the human, which are created by the technology of rapid prototyping (3D-printing) based on computer tomography. The aim of the project is to increase the accuracy of diagnosing nasal breathing disorders by analyzing the aerodynamic characteristics of the parietal flow of air on the basis of the manufacture and study of individual natural 3D models of the upper respiratory tract of the person.
