The variations were analyzed. It is found that a pronounced seasonal dependence of the ionospheric response to storms in geospace takes place in the region of the Antarctic station “Academik Vernadsky” location. Strong ionospheric responces occur in January, weak ones – in June. Seasonal dependence for the Ukrainian region was not detected. It is shown that the seasonal effects of ionospheric response to storms in geospace over Antarctica are related to seasonal redistribution of the global thermospheric circulation. The absence of pronounced seasonal ionospheric effects of the storms over Ukraine is found to be explained mainly by the local time effects. Product Description popup.authors Bogomaz Oleksandr V.
