Dependences of the amount of energy released during the cavitation process on the main technological (pressure at the entrance to the cavitator) and design parameters (geometric dimensions and number of cavitation elements, their spatial arrangement in the cavitator body, etc.) as well as the specific energy costs of creating and maintaining cavitation were determined. The high energy efficiency of the proposed design of the cavitator was confirmed by the methods of calorimetric and acoustic analyzes, as well as the results of the study of the cavitation decomposition of benzene.
