It is established that a continuous series of solid solutions is formed in the La2O3-Lu2O3-Yb2O3 system at 1500 C on the basis of ordered phases of the perovskite type. A fairly wide area of ??homogeneity of these solid solutions allows the choice of compositions in a wide concentration range for optically transparent materials.
