For the first time it has been shown that plasmon enhancement of PIC J-aggregate luminescence occurs not only by gold nanoparticles, but also by silver ones despite large spectral distance between plasmonic and excitonic bands maxima. It has been shown the plasmon enhancement of TDBC J-aggregate luminescence by gold nanoparticles, which is weaker comparing with the effect on PIC J-aggregates. It has been found that the exciton-plasmon interaction results in decreasing efficiency of exction self-trapping in PIC J-aggregates. It has been shown that the reason for such effect is growth of oscillator strength due to exciton-plasmon interaction and, as a result, weakening the exciton-phonon interaction in J-aggregates.
