The high prospects of using Lysimachia nummularia L. plants for pharmacological needs, in particular, as a source of embelin and flavonol myricetin, have been established. Miritsetin has a high biocidal activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and is able to perform the function of phytoantibiotic. Five cell lines of Lysimachia nummularia L. were selectively selected. Stilbenoids and one cell line with high productivity of synthesis and accumulation of myricetin in callus tissues were actively synthesized. A technique has been developed for the production of pharmaceutically valuable raw materials in vitro that deserves further use on an industrial scale.
