The purpose of the work is to determine the optimum number of observation points and their location on the Earth for continuous monitoring of all objects in the Main Catalog of Space Objects maintained by the Center for Outer Space Control, and in the Catalog of USSTRATCOM. This will significantly increase the level of fulfillment of the tasks of opto-electronic control over outer space and minimize the cost of deployment of new equipment. The study is carried out by computer simulation of the circumstances of the observations, and by the method of numerical calculations of the motion and observation of the satellites. As a result of the researches, the number and possible locations of the observation points were calculated to solve the problem of continuous surveillance of all satellites according to known catalogs; numerical simulation of the observation conditions of all satellites presented in the catalogs for the calculated number and scheme of location of the observation points was carried out; received statistic data on the conditions of visibility of all satellites presented in the catalogs during 2018 according to the chosen scheme of the location of the observation points; a comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of different location schemes in terms of satellite visibility conditions presented in the catalogs was carried out; suggestions for the optimal number of observation points and their location scheme for continuous monitoring of the all artificial satellites have been developed.   Product Description popup.authors Korobeynikova Elena Elena O.
