The purpose of the work is to develop technologies for manufacturing spherical powders with a given particle size distribution for 3D printing and alternative technologies for manufacturing complex metal parts of alloys and reinforced composites with metal and ceramic matrix for components of civil and special machinery, which are operated in extreme conditions. Requirements for starting material, preparation operations are developed powders before melting in the plasma and preserving the chemical composition and physical and technological properties of spherical powders until compacted with 3D printing technology. The module of processing of granules of powders under the action of high-frequency induction plasma is mounted and installed on the experimental-industrial site (Appendices) for the production of powders of spherical shape with a given particle size composition for 3D printing and alternative technologies. Design solutions have been developed for manufacturing a powder granule processing module that allows the powder to be processed up to 20 kg / h by a fraction of 10 to 100 microns. The developed plasma induction technology and technological platform are flexible and can be effectively used for purification and spherisation of powder materials of various nature (simple and complex oxides, carbides, metals, and so on). Products have high density, spheridization and purity. The technology and platform can also be used to synthesize new materials and to produce nano- and ultra-fine powders.
