Vernadskii Institute of General & Inorganic Chemistry NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 The electrochemical formation of functional coatings of binary and ternary alloys M1M2, M1M3, M1M2M3 (where M1 is 3d6-8 metal of the iron group: Fe, Co, Ni; M2 - Mo, W; and M3 - Re), from aqueous solutions and melts, according to the I stage of the research work.. The effect of cationic and anionic composition of electrolytes on the electroreduction of components was established. For the deposition of NiRe from sulfamate and citrate electrolytes at different pHs, current densities, and temperatures, it has been found that the regulation of Re content is most effective due to changes in the concentration of components, first of all, KReO4 in solution and electrode current density. The content of Re in the alloy ranges from 10-95wt.%, at the current efficiency of 15-99%. Qualitative nanocrystalline Re-rich coatings were obtained from citrate electrolyte at j=1–3 Adm-2, t=30–60°C. The electrodeposition of CoRe and CoWRe alloys from a monoligand citrate electrolyte was performed and the effect of the composition of the solutions and electrolysis parameters on the chemical composition and the current efficiency of such coatings was studied. A citrate-pyrophosphate electrolyte is proposed for the preparation of a new CoWRe alloy in which the combined content of two refractory metals can improve coating characteristics such as hardness and corrosion resistance. It is established that the rate of deposition of binary and ternary alloys is significantly different, which may be due to the electrocatalytic properties of the surface, where in the first case the alloy is an electrocatalyst in the HER, and in the second - increases the overvoltage of the hydrogen reaction side reaction, so the main part goes to the target reaction - the formation of the alloy. The conditions of pulsed electrolysis for obtaining multilayer coatings of CoMo/CoW were determined. Electrolysis of carbamide melts containing Co and Mo (W) oxides at 135oC gave coatings up to 10 μm thick. Product Description popup.authors Babenkov Eugen A. Bersirova Oksana L. Devyatkin Sergei V.
