Conductometric transducers with immobilized enzymes (arginine deiminase, arginase and urease) was used for the biosensor development. Biochemical methods, such as enzyme immobilization via glutaraldehyde, conductometric method of measurements, and other electrochemical methods were used. During the biosensor development, following studies were carried out: optimization of conditions of enzyme immobilization, determination of influence of working buffer composition on the biosensors work, evaluation of the main analytical characteristics of biosensors, tests of the biosensors during analysis of real biological and pharmaceutical samples. Topicality of the project is supported by the fact that currently there is a huge necessity in high-sensitive modern portative analyzers, capable of quick, accurate and cheap arginine determination.
