One of the most important and priority areas of research is the development of new energy-saving technologies, the creation of efficient renewable energy sources, the reprocessing of waste heat, the creation of new autonomous energy sources, and more. Of great importance are the studies related to the direct conversion of thermal energy into electrical energy. As for the study of film materials, the main focus of scientists is on the formation of quantum dot superlattices. However, such processes are more technologically complex because they require special equipment, the cost of which is included in the cost of the final product. Therefore, the study of multicomponent thin-film structures is a promising area of ​​modern material science. The purpose of this work is to develop the technological conditions for the deposition of thin films of semiconductor compounds based on the Pb-Sn-Se-Te system by vapor deposition by open evaporation in vacuum, with subsequent optimization and stabilization of parameters for use in thermoelectric microgenerators. In the course of this stage, the chemical composition of the deposited structures was investigated, the dominant mechanisms of charge carrier scattering were determined, the influence of technological factors on the charge carrier scattering processes was determined, the thermoelectric parameters of deposited thin films from the composition and technological factors were calculated.
