Optimal geometric parameters of composite heat transfer surfaces with transverse finning are determined, depending on the modes and conditions of their operation. Working design documentation for the production of a prototype of a semi-automatic installation to obtain the connection of the tube and fins and the tool for forming the fins has been developed. An operational description of the optimal tube and fins connection technology has been made. The characteristics of the strength of connection of the tube and the fins are investigated.
