The purpose of the work is to perform a statistical analysis of the situation of development of the world diamond market and to show the place of Ukraine in comparison with other countries participating in the KP. Provided detailed information about the participants in the global market for natural diamonds - the division of KP member countries into groups by status, the world leaders in terms of production, trade and processing of rough diamonds. Issues and shortcomings of work of KP are covered. Ukraine's place in the world diamond market is shown in comparison with other KP countries. A statistical analysis of the volumes of imports and exports of diamonds had carried out over the entire history of the KP (2004 - 2019).
