The purpose of modeling the equilibrium state of the market is formulated. The methodology for constructing the equilibrium model of the liberalized electricity market is described. The mathematical description of the equilibrium state of the liberalized electricity market of Ukraine in the form of a matrix-vector form of the system of complementary relations and algebraic equations is presented. Algorithms for forming and identifying the parameters of a mathematical model of an equivalent network of high-voltage transmission lines are provided, which provide a significant reduction in the number of model lines and nodes. The mathematical description of the transmission line network is presented, which adequately reflects the physical properties of the network in the equilibrium model of the liberalized electricity market of Ukraine.
