The processes of these waves generation and their interaction with shores, botton irregularities and hydraulic structures are studied. The methods of studies are: theoretical analysis, computational modelling and physical experiment. The numerical and analytical model of hydrodynamics of a non-ststionary ship movement in the channel is developed and the numerical experiments for a thin ship are performed. The surface waves evolution on the bottom steh is considered. A single wave formation, the said wave being generated by a ship movement in the channel within a critical velocities range, and interaction of the said wave with the channel walls are experimentally studied. The wave cutter efficacy evaluations for surface waves extinction on the shores as well as strength and wear-resisting property of the artificial materials subjected to these waves are obtained.
