The purpose of the work is the synthesis of new stable carbenes with frontier properties and their carbenoid forms, study of the catalytic efficiency for carbene complexes in the reaction of haloarene hydrohalogenation. Research methods - synthetic, spectral (NMR spectroscopy), X-ray diffractometry, analytical (chromatographic, elemental analysis). Results: Chemical hardness and new electronic indices were studied using the DFT method as a criterion for the electronic properties of carbenes. Synthesis of highly electron donating cyclic diaminocarbenes, stable complexes of super-basic carbenes and metals - nickel, titanium, tin, fluoro-substituted 1,2,4-triazol-5-ylidene and their carbene complexes with copper iodides (I) has been developed. Significant catalytic effect of synthesized carbenes in the reaction of hydrodehalogenation of p-dichlorobenzene with alkali metal formates in isopropanol at 80 oC (TON to 790), in the reaction of cyanodehalogenation (TON to 1000), trifluoromethyldehalogenation (TON to 77).
