The purpose of the work is to provide the branch and society with administrative data on publishing products that characterize the phenomena and processes taking place in the publishing sector, electronic reference and information resources of publishing and library business, to promote the effective use of normative documents by publishers to increase the overall level of the culture of publishing products; Research methods - monitoring, systematic and analytical analysis, synthesis, generalization, forecasting - during the summarizing at different stages of the study. Statistical and bibliometric methods were used to process the results of the book publishing analysis. Scientific results - administrative data for 2018 publishing; operational data on the issue of books and brochures as of December 2019, generalized data on the delivery of compulsory copies of Ukrainian editions for 2019 (as of December); electronic information arrays: "UDC Document Indexing Technique: General Rules" and references in the Ukrainian language of the 3rd edition of the UDC, taking into account the reference with the MRF 2012 standard electronic reference array in English, "Issuing of initial data in non-periodic (book), periodical and continuing editions", scientific articles to the reference book "Calendar of significant and commemorative dates. II quarter 2019 - I quarter 2020"; an electronic registry of erroneous ISBNs/ISMNs for 2019; updated databases for 2019: Ukrainian and foreign media sources, print media base, users of ISBN, ISMN, legislative and regulatory documents, "List of errors in the design of source information in books"; analytical reviews on the topic of the study; 2019 Annual Report on Scientific Performance Scientific novelty: the administrative data of publishing production by publishing companies in 2018-2019 were worked out and analyzed, the role of the mass media in forming the positive image of Ukraine in the world, the state of functioning of the systems of the OP, ISBN / ISMN, the completeness of the information content of the original information of the publications was analyzed, created new electronic reference and information resources.
