The purpose of the work is to provide the society with complete, systematic bibliographic information on all types of publications in 2018-2019, published on the territory of Ukraine, analytical information on the thematic orientation of books and publications in the scientific periodical; introduction into scientific circulation of information about certain types of publications of the retrospective fund of the State Archives of Press for a certain period, strengthening of international relations in the field of science. Research methods - analytical and synthetic processing, bibliographic detection, bibliometric analysis, bibliographic characteristics, grouping, systematic approach. Results of HP - Databases (DB) of electronic catalogs of publications received in 2019: non-periodicals; periodicals (except newspapers) and continuing editions. Database of the State Bibliography for 2019: "Chronicle of Books"; "Chronicle of Magazine Articles"; "Chronicle of Newspaper Articles"; "Chronicle of dissertation abstracts". Retrospective DBs: Newspapers for 1961; periodicals (except newspapers) and continuing editions in 1961, database of magazines in the Yiddish language for 1922-1948, databases of graphic and cartographic editions for 1951; the biobibliographic database "Writers of the Age of Ukrainian Statehood" for 1917-1921; consolidated databases, supplemented with information for 2019; bibliographic databases on Euro-Atlantic integration Ukraine, publications on the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian language for 2019; analytical reviews on the topic of the study; 2019 Annual Report on Scientific Performance. Scientific novelty: for the first time in Ukraine the database of the state bibliography of all types of publications for 2018-2019 was created; a database of publications on European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus for 2019 was formed; analytical reviews were developed on the basis of bibliometric analysis of the database of the State Bibliography of Books and Magazine Articles in 2018; retrospective databases of publications from the State Archives of the Press - periodicals of 1961, fine and cartographic editions of 1951, magazines in the Yiddish language of 1922-1948, the database "Writers of the Ukrainian Statehood" were created on the basis of books of 1917-1921. Found 160 publications available only in the Book Chamber of Ukraine, 220 unknown surnames and undisclosed aliases of authors, found authorship of some anonymous works. There is no analogue to these developments. The results of the ND will be used by state authorities, libraries, higher education institutions, the National Book Chamber of Belarus, other users of information in Ukraine and abroad.
