Materials of geomagnetic, geoelectric and seismic studies carried out within the massif and its environs have been taken into consideration. The problem of the genesis of mafit-ultramafits of the Tarasiv massif, as well as the connection with them rare-earth-rare-metal and apatite mineralization has been distinguished. The most likely origin is intrusive massif one, and its maximum spread to a depth of about 2 km is explained, on the one hand, by deep erosion cut, and on the other hand - by possible horizontal movement of its upper part along the shallow detachment.
