Research methods: clinical and instrumental, assessment of carbohydrate metabolism and blood lipid spectrum, markers of inflammatory activation, determination of miRNA-27a, -221 levels; vasculoendothelial growth factor; gene expression of PPAR ? receptors. It was established that with the combination of IHD with diabetes, a specific decrease in the levels of circulating miRNAs 27a and - 221 occurs. The connection of these miRNAs with glucometabolic disorders, the formation of diabetic dyslipidemia, inflammatory activation, and dysregulation of angiogenesis is proved. It was shown that miRNA-27a can serve as a predictor of cardiovascular events, and its low level should be used as an additional criterion for choosing the dose and type of statins.
