The subject of the study is the primary Zn-Mn chemical current sources and methods of testing their physicochemical and electrochemical properties. The purpose of the work is to develop a method of accelerated testing of small-scale current sources, as well as to create recommendations for the selection and interchangeability of small-scale current sources, in particular, for powering electronic equipment. Research methods - atomic absorption, photometric, potentiometric, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, electron microscopy, X-ray phase analysis. The influence of current, temperature and mechanical loads of varying degrees on the electrical and electrochemical parameters of commercial primary power sources is investigated. Comparative analysis of standard test data and electrochemical impedance spectra using a mathematical apparatus of small derivatives to describe the formation of the dispersion of the capacitance at the electrode / electrolyte boundary proved the possibility of a more accurate assessment of the state of operation of the primary chemical current sources. Recommendations are made for the use of R&D results in studies of irreversible changes in chemical current sources. The results of the research and development are recommended for implementation in the chemical and technological department of PJSC "STC" Electron Appliance ".
