The purpose of the work is to create electrode materials of spherical morphology for ultra high power current sources by hydrolysis of complex compounds. Research methods - deposition method, imaginary sediment volume method, pH-potentiometry, X-ray analysis, scanning electron microscopy, cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic cycling and combined cycle method. The hydrolysis conditions leading to the deposition of manganese carbonate were studied, the lithium-manganese spinel of the LiMn2O4 composition was synthesized, its morphology was studied and electrochemical tests were performed. It is revealed that the use for hydrolytic synthesis of oxides less durable than ammonia, citrate complexes, allows to preserve the spherical morphology of the synthesized oxide materials and to obtain LiMn2O4 lithium-manganese spinel in the form of openwork quasispherical aggregates smaller than 4 microns in size of 4 microns in size. For the best samples at a current of 14.6 mA / h, a specific capacity of 103 mAh / h is achieved. At a current of 292 mA / h, they give a capacity of ~ 25 mAh / h. After being tested with this current in the control cycles with a current of 14.6 mA / g, the samples show a high charge conservation, returning up to 98% of the original capacity.
