The casting properties of composite materials reinforced with a small amount of high-modulus carbides (up to 5 wt. %) obtained by the master alloy technique have been investigated, and techniques for the bushings casting from these materials using gasified models have been developed. An experimental batch of plain bearings was manufactured and their industrial testing was conducted at the Gal-Kat additional liability company.
