In the result of realization the theme "Taxonomical diversity, variability, distribution of vertebrates and some groups of Invertebrates in main types of ecosystems" the taxonomical diversity, variability and distribution of mayflies in the main types of ecosystems in selected regions of Eurasia were studied. The complex of Cincticostella insolta (Allen, 1971) of the world fauna and the genus Eurylophella Tiensuu, 1935 of Western Palaeartic were revised. The mayfly species new to Ukraine, India, Nepal and Thailand were revealed; 5 species new to science were described. The populations of Paraleptophlebia werneri Ulmer, 1919 inhabiting caves were described for the first time. The life cycles of 18 mayfly species were studied within Ukraine; the structural change of larvae for 5 species of mayflies was studied during a year. The distribution, morphology and biology of 27 species and subspecies of marine fishes from 19 genera inhabiting sea coastal area of Black sea and Azov sea within Ukraine were analyzed. Furthermore, the distribution, species richness and diversity of gobiid fishes in the basins of the freshwater bodies and in separate sections of the sea coast of Ukraine were investigated. The rapid reduction and fragmentation of areals of four species of snakes in the family Colubridae, reduction of number and density of their populations in the result of antropogenic change of the ecosystems, degradation and elimination of natural biotopes were proved. The increase of level of the genetical and morphological variability at the populations of two parthenogenetic species of lizards in the genus Darevskia, introduced in the canyon of Teteriv River, was revealed. The interpopulational differentiation of red fox regarding the age and sex was established for the first time. Research showed, that the morphological diversity of Vulpes vulpes L. within East-European part of the areal is formed based on correlation of age, sex and geographical variability of the general sizes and proportions of cranium. The structural features of faunistic complexes of terrestrial vertebrates, formed at various industrial dumps, is established; their species and taxonomical richness and diversity is compared and analyzed. The industrial dumps were shown serving as refugiums in the life of different animal species.
