The study of the relationship between structure and phase composition with the properties of the alloys and the determination of the optimum temperature and time parameters of melting and heat treatment allowed to create alloys with programmed physical-mechanical, casting and hydrogen -sorption properties. Casting and powder eutectic alloys based on cobalt and nickel for aviation and aerospace engineering have been developed and improved. Studies have shown that the melting point of cast alloys of the Co-NbC system with different content of additional alloying components and with variations in the content of the main alloying components is not lower than 1300 ° C, their structure is quasi-eutectic, the phase composition is stable. The most promising additional alloying elements for increasing the heat resistance of alloys of the Co-NbC system at 1100 ° C are titanium and rhenium. Rhenium in the range from 1 to 10 wt.% Three times improves the oxidation resistance of the alloys, which formed the basis for the creation of a new cobalt heat-resistant alloy. New competitive alloys - hydrogen accumulators in Ti-Zr-Mn system have reduced cost by increasing sorption and reversing capacities and reducing technological parameters of hydride synthesis and desorption processes. It has been established that due to the doping of the eutectic alloy V, its distribution between the eutectic components, the redistribution of hydrogen active metal atoms at the nodes of the tetrahedral interstices, and the increase in the fraction of hydride-forming components, the kinetic and thermodynamic parameters of the hydrogenation processes improve and the sorption capacity increases significantly. The influence of alloying elements and heat treatment modes on the phase composition, microstructure, thermal characteristics and mechanical properties of high-strength eutectic (?-Al + Mg2Si) and (?-Al + Mg2Ge) alloys designed to operate up to 150 ° C was investigated. The high level of mechanical properties of these alloys is achieved through the implementation of the dispersion mechanism of strengthening of the phases containing magnesium, zinc and copper.
