Work purpose: development of the definition of theoretical and methodological foundations, proposals and recommendations on principles, conceptual, methodological, doctrinal provisions, legal bases for improvement of legislation on the legal regulation of public relations related to the use of Internet of Things technology. Main tasks:- theoretical and methodological principles of legal regulation of public relations related to the use of Internet of Things technology, which is necessary to reduce the risks and barriers to the promotion of Internet of Things technology in all spheres of life in society, as well as to create a scientific basis for further improvement of legislation in the field of informatization, telecommunications, e-commerce, personal data protection, infrastructure security, cybersecurity, etc.; study of the Internet of things phenomenon, exploring the features of the use of the Internet of things technologies in various fields of human activity; identification of the legal aspects of risks and barriers to the introduction of Internet of Things technologies; formation of a system of models of typical legal relationships, under the conditions of using Internet of Things technologies; elaboration of theoretical and methodological principles of legal regulation in the conditions of using Internet of Things technologies; systematization of proposals for the development of legal regulation of public relations in certain segments of the use of Internet of Things technologies;- directions of improvement of legislation, first of all in information field, which should provide legal conditions for the development, implementation and use of IoT technologies.The research conducted allows to propose a strategic, doctrinal, conceptual and methodological setting (paradigm) for the modernization and improvement of the legislation of Ukraine, in particular in the information field, harmonization of provisions on the legal regulation of public relations related to the use of IoT technologies at the level of sectoral codes in force, based on unified legal principles in combination with worldwide standards of international law.
