The purpose of the research is to develop thescientific foundations of hybrid foundry-laser and foundry-plasma methods of processing under the action of electromagnetic fields to obtain bimetallic and multilayered products with high functional properties for prolonging the life of thee lements of structures of equipment for the energy industry and transport. Research methods included metallographic, micro-X-ray spectral analyzes, mechanical testing, physical and mathematical modeling, full-scale experiments. Calculation and experimental results of researches on creation and optimization of methods of connection of heterogeneous materials on the basis of foundry processes under the influence of concentrated sources of heating and their structure formation are presented. Mathematical models of non-stationary gas-hydrodynamic, electrodynamic and thermal processes occurring in obtaining composite materials and multilayer products have been developed. The rational parameters and modes of new hybrid foundry-laser and foundry-plasma rocesses of obtaining bimetallic and multilayer products using electromagnetic heating of the work piece are presented. The featuresof liquid-phase and liquid-solid compounds of metals and alloys with complex use of casting methods, concentrated energy sources and electromagnetic actions are established. The main regularities of the influence of laser and plasma treatment, as well as the electromagnetic field on the formation of multilayer products. Special equipment for theimplementation of hybrid foundry-laser and foundry-plasma technologies with the use of electromagnetic actions on metal has been created. Computational models for the heating of a flat moving workpiece and the processes of heat and mass transfer in a foundry unit of a foundry-plasma unit designed for continuous receipt of a bimetalliс headquarters have been developed. The temperature modes of induction heating of the workpiece are optimized. The influence of technological parameters of the process on the formationof a solid crust of metal poured on the workpiece is determined. The regularities of laser and joint laser-flame heating of particles are determined, depending on their velocity, trajectory of motion, size, physical parameters, and radiation power when receiving castcomposite materials. A new design o fthe mixing reactor has been developed, hich allows to reduce the area of formation of the slurry melt in order to increase the efficiency of laser treatment of particles. Experimental-industrial nspection of bimetallic castings of aircraft brake sectors was carried out in the conditionsof LLC "Hydrobest". The esults of the audit showed the highquality of bimetal products and their compliance with thetechnical requirements of the industry standard VIAM (OCT1 90167-75).
