The purpose of the study is to develop more advanced methods for improving the productivity and quality of single-seeded beet beet and the creation of new varieties and hybrids that meet the needs of agricultural production. Methods of research - laboratory and field using hybridization, saturated crosses, inbreeding and sampling. At the stage of the current year an anisoploid population of fodder beet was obtained. As a result of the selection of 98 plants, 57 plants were selected for further study, of which 45 were root crops with red color and 12 with yellow. Among the obtained breeding material were recorded forms with male sterility, as well as self-fertile forms. The plugs were obtained as a result of the reproduction of the original forms of fodder beet obtained from self-pollination.
