The design of the device provides for registration the intensity of the light circular component to increase sensitivity. The circular component arose upon internal reflection of the probe beam from a resonantly sensitive ultra thin film relatively to the zero signal. Zero value is achieved by turning the retroprism and setting the corresponding reflection angle of the probe beam with an accuracy of at least 0.02 degrees. The design is developed and the improved mechanical-optical components of the corrected device are made: a block of angular displacement of the optical retroprism, which involves its two-coordinate adjustment relative to the probe beam; a trapezoidal retroprism fixation unit with linear dimensions in the range from 15x15x15 to 30x30x30 mm and with the possibility of fixing a ditch of various thicknesses on its working surface; unit for mounting and adjusting the position of the quartz photoelastic modulator with an operating frequency of 80 kHz. Electronic circuits are designed for the automation complex of the high-frequency (80 kHz) spectropolarimeter, the necessary printed circuit boards are manufactured, the optimal values of the electronic components are determined, their installation is carried out. Parts of the complex are mounted on a portable ultra-sensitive modulation spectropolarimeter and the main parameters of the developed device are experimentally established. The device's functional ability is to measure the change in the refractive index of the external medium at a level of 10-7 with a change in composition.
