The purpose of the work is an improvement of vibrocasting mullite corundum crucibles technology. The research methods are chemical, petrographical, physical and mechanical ones. The influence researches of grinding time of alumina NO 105 and 105 RA brands on the grinding fineness and flowing during vibration of mullite corundum mass compared with alumina M-S1 brand were carried out. It was established that, specified of alumina grinding fineness in the series M-S1 - NO 105 - NO 105 RA is achieved in ~ 60, 45 and 30 minutes, respectively. It was shown that, the mass moisture, which ensures its flowing during vibration in within 80-100 % with using alumina NO 105 and NO 105 RA brands, crushed to a specified fineness, in mixture content is 4.5-5.0 %, and using alumina M-S1 brand - 4.0-4.5 %. Researches of plastic strength dependence of mullite corundum masses, containing alumina of NO 105 and NO 105 RA brands or alumina of M-S1 brand, on their grinding fineness and storage time were carried out. It was established that, all researched masses have a similar mechanism of structure formation and are characterized by a low value of plastic strength, which indicates about their suitability for use even after 24 hours of storage. By based researches was established that, mullite corundum samples containing researched alumina NO 105 and NO 105 RA brands or alumina M-S1 brand after firing at 1580 °C are characterized by high indexes of properties that meet the requirements of TU U for MKT brand products. As a result of researches, the technology of vibrocasting mullite corundum crucibles was improved. In accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents and the terms of contracts in JSC "The URIR named after A.S. Berezhnoy" the pilot batches of high refractory products were produced and transferred to consumers in the amount of financing.
