The work purpose is metrological support and improvement of tests and measurements quality of refractory products. The works by attainment and maintenance of measurements uniformity of instrumentation technology means and testing equipment applied in the development, production and testing of refractory products were carried out. "Order of conformity control of metrological characteristics and requirements to the measuring equipment" was developed and ratified. The researches of metrological characteristics of instrumentation technology means, normalized accuracy characteristics of testing equipment and the assessment of measuring laboratories conformity to attestation criteria were carried out. The calibration and verification of instrumentation technology means were organized and carried out. The metrological characteristics control of standard samples of enterprise was carried out. The metrological characteristics control of testing equipment of Ukrainian refractory enterprises was carried out. In accordance with a schedule, the competence of one measuring laboratory was prepared and confirmed and the functioning control of one confirmed laboratory of refractory enterprises of Ukraine was carried out. All this will ensure the quality of measurements in the laboratories of refractory enterprises. The work shall be continued in the line of further improvement of metrological support of measurements applied in the production and testing of refractory products.
