Objective: to study the possibility of determining individual sensitivity to chemotherapy based on the method of recording spectral indices of blood smears in the mid-IR range for the purpose of use in clinical practice for monitoring the chemotherapeutic treatment of cancer pathologies. Research methods: analysis of literature data, infrared spectroscopy method, selection of patients for research. As a result of studies, it was found that a Сarboplatin solution changes the spectrum of a thin film of a 5% albumin solution, increasing the spectral index S (for the studied film samples, a 5% albumin solution in the presence of a 0.02% Сarboplatin solution increases the S value from 0.05 to 0.17 ) Our studies revealed a difference in the spectral indices of S in the examined patients, including in comparison with practically healthy ones, and the spectral indices of standards (0.02% Сarboplatin solution in saline, 5% albumin solution, 0.02% Сarboplatin solution with 5% albumin solution). For an in-depth study of the dependence of the spectral index S on tumor pathomorphism, the stage of the disease, the effectiveness of chemotherapeutic treatment, it is necessary to continue research among this group of patients.
