The purpose of the work is technology development of alumina-chromia-zirconia-silica refractories with 60 % Cr2O3 content. The research methods are chemical, spectral, petrographical, standard methods for determination of apparent density, water absorption, open porosity, cold crushing strength, thermal shock resistance of refractories, crucible method for determining the corrosion resistance of refractories. The influence researches of grain composition, ratio of mixture components and atmosphere during firing on the structure and properties of pressed of alumina-chromia-zirconia-silica refractories with 60 % Cr2O3 content were carried out. Composition of the mixture, which provides obtaining after firing at oxygen atmosphere of refractories with open porosity 24.9 %, apparent density 3.46 g/cm3, cold crushing strength 78 N/mm2 was established. Comparative researches of corrosion resistance of alumina-chromia-zirconia-silica refractories with 60 % Cr2O3 content and refractory brand KHTSS-30 to glass "E" and basalt melts were carried out. It has been established that, E glass and basalt impregnate refractories, under the influence of E glass their insignificant corrosion occurs too, and samples of developed composition are less susceptible to corrosion compared to samples of other compositions. As a result of carried out researches the technology of a new type product - alumina-chromia-zirconia-silica refractories with 60 % Cr2O3 content was developed. In JSC "The URIR named after A.S. Berezhnoy" the pilot batches of high refractory chromic oxide, alumina-chromia-zirconia-silica and alumina-zirconia-silica products were produced and transferred to the consumer. The work should in the direction of future technology improvement of alumina-chromia-zirconia-silica refractories with 60 % Cr2O3 content (decreasing of open porosity, etc.), further improving of chromic oxide and alumina-zirconia-silica refractories technologies and expanding their areas of application.
