The purpose of the work is a production technology reprocessing of the ramming mullite corundum mix. The research methods are physicochemical, petrographic, thermo-mechanical ones. The influence of spherical alumina additive amount on the properties of ramming mullite corundum mixes grades of "MMК-90" and "MMKPBF", as well as samples of them, was investigated. It was established that, the introduction of optimum amount of spherical alumina in the indicated ramming mixes composition provides increasing (~ by 30 %) of cold crushing strength of samples produced of these mixes fired at a temperature of 1580 °C, while maintain-ing a sufficiently high level of their thermal shock resistance and slag resistance indicators. The use of indicated alumina in the mix grade of "MMК-90" composition at high-temperature firing of the samples leads to the synthesis process intensification of mullite, needle crystals which increase of the refractory material strength. In the burned samples of grade of "MMKPBF", the spherical alumina forms a thick growth of "felt" structure, which reinforces the structure, increasing the strength and thermal shock resis-tance samples. The ramming mullite corundum mixes of improved composition are recommended for use in various thermal units having large specific mechanical loads on the lining. In JSC "The URIR named after A.S. Berezhnoy" the pilot batches of mullite corundum ramming mixes, mullite corundum mortar and periclase-chromium powder, which are intended to machine building plants and plants of chemical industry of Ukraine, have been produced.
