Examples of recommended methods of analysis for the detection of various types of controlled substances in forensic objects, presented for examination, methods and techniques of drug research, are based on significant experimental, bibliographic and reference materials and can be successfully used for the study of chemical composition of drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogs and precursors. The study of more than ten groups of synthetic drugs (groups of amphetamine, ephedrone, cocaine, heroin derivatives, indole, etc.), pharmaceutical compounds (derivatives of barbituric acid, benzodiazepines, narcosis, etc.) and precursors (toluene, ethyl acetone) , as well as the experimental conditions for their qualitative and quantitative analysis studies in this work.
